The annual Red Ventures 5K is back and bigger than ever with an all-new race course through the trails on campus and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Girls on the Run and Let Me Run – two awesome nonprofit organizations that help develop young men and women through the power of running. Plus, prizes for men’s and women’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers and a special award for the top fundraiser.
Lace up for a Fun Run, 5K or 10K with gift cards awarded to overall male and female winners in two age categories. The Fun Run is free, no registration required and open to strollers. Both 5K and 10K courses are USATF, require registration and for participants 21 and over, enjoy a complimentary beer (or soft drink) and pizza after the race. Runners are asked to bring a pair of old athletic shoes to be recycled.

The Heart Transplant Run is both a virtual fundraising event and a marathon—open to all skill levels and with no running distance requirement. 100% of funds raised through the Heart Transplant Run will support Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute transplant patients with special healthcare and related needs.

In Charlotte, there are countless ways to work out (and drink) 7 days a week. Every Tuesday at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, a different instructor teaches a community yoga class for all levels. Your ticket includes a well-earned beer or soda from the brewery post-flow.
The Novant Health Charlotte Marathon features five different races: the marathon, half-marathon, marathon relay, 5K, and kid’s 1-mile run.Runners experience the sights and sounds of the Queen City’s signature tree lined streets, historic landmarks, major sporting venues and the most eclectic neighborhood parties. The race finishes in the heart of Uptown Charlotte at Romare Bearden Park.
