The annual SEED20 program by Social Venture Partners identifies, highlights and connects the community to the region’s most innovative ideas for tackling pressing social challenges. This culminating event is more than a competition, it is a chance to network and support social entrepreneurs. Ten finalists will give fast-paced 3-minute pitches of their ideas to a panel of judges and a live audience. Ticket includes admission, drinks, dinner and mingling before and after.

The 2nd Annual Charlie’s Carnival celebrates the life of Charlie Holt. Families of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon of carnival games, activities, bounce houses, and several local food trucks. All proceeds from the carnival will support the mission of Charlie’s Heart Foundation. In the event of inclement weather, Charlie’s Carnival will take place at Matthews United Methodist Church.

The Blue Jean Bash celebrates Habitat Charlotte’s accomplishments over the past year and raises funds to increase affordable homeownership in our community. Join friends for dinner, dancing, and an exciting live auction. Last year’s bash raised $325,000, helping Habitat serve 119 families in Charlotte.
Connect for Charity is a GIANT Connect Four tournament hosted by Passport to raise funding for Project Scientist, an organization which provides STEM education to girls ages 4-12. This single elimination tournament will be accessible and fun for Connect Four amateurs and advanced professionals alike.

Join Ted Frank, MD, heart failure/transplant cardiologist, as he runs the distance for heart transplant patients at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute. The Heart Transplant Run is both a virtual fundraising event and a marathon—open to all skill levels and with no running distance requirement. 100% of funds raised through the Heart Transplant Run will support Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute transplant patients with special healthcare and related needs.
Back for the 5th year, this epic bottle share raises money for Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina. This year, the fundraising goal is $50,000 which is enough to 100% fund over 8 wishes for kids who need a little hope, strength and joy as they battle their conditions.

Join the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art’s for their 10th annual fundraising gala for a night of festivity and philanthropy and the highlight of the Bechtler’s fundraising calendar. The museum will be transformed for a night featuring various entertainments, food, cocktails and activities with all proceeds to benefit the museum’s operating costs, including exhibitions, public programs and community outreach initiatives that encourage an appreciation of the arts, culture, education and inclusiveness.
