Seafood for brunch? Don’t knock it ‘til you try it – and if you’re going to try it, head to Sea Level for their new brunch offering.

They serve brunch from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and offer way more than just shrimp and grits (which they do, in fact, offer.)

Here are a few highlights:

  • Caramel Apple French Toast: Bourbon whip, pecans, maple ($12)
  • Crab Cake Benedict: market veggie succotash, poached eggs, spicy citrus hollandaise ($15)
  • NC Shrimp and Lobster Carbonara: Pasta and Provisions linguine, bacon, parmesan, poached egg ($25)

And you’ve probably seen their gorgeous seafood tower floating around on Instagram.

$40 for 2-tier; $125 for 3-tier

So what should you get?

We tried the delicious paella, a huge skillet of Anson Mills Carolina Gold rice, chorizo, shrimp, catfish, mussels, and citrus crème fraiche along with the cast iron frittata.

Paella – $15 per person, plus $10 extra for a lobster tail

Fritatta – Your choice of three ingredients plus a side for $13

And we couldn’t pass on the crispy corn fritters with spicy aioli ($5).

Come thirsty, too. Their brunch cocktails are insanely good.

Brunch Punch ($10)

Enough said. Sea Level’s seafood brunch is worthy of being included on your Charlotte brunch bucket list.
