Smashburger is in the early planning stages of opening a restaurant in the Montford area – across Park Road from Duckworth’s.
The exact location is 4444 Park Road (currently an older looking medical company office). This will be Smashburger’s third Charlotte location. The other locations are in Cotswold and Stonecrest.
Smashburger will join the recently opened Viva Chicken and soon to open Jimmy John’s on the other side of Park Road from the main Montford area. Side note: Jimmy John’s is under construction and I’ve heard late January/February as a target opening date for this location that shares the Viva Chicken building.
