Here’s what the luxury corporate chalets will look like at the PGA Championship

If your company has a spare $40,000 to half a million, you can still get in to Charlotte’s first golf major tournament.

The PGA Championship is headed to Charlotte in 10 months, and corporate pre-sales have set an all-time PGA Championship high, said Jason Mengel, director of the 2017 PGA Championship.

The sales have largely been done at this point, now tournament organizers are getting down to business putting it all together. More than 100 companies have pulled out their checkbooks to be there.

The tournament will be held at Quail Hollow Club from August 7-13, 2017. More than 200,000 fans are expected over the course of the week.

Here’s a guide to the corporate seating options, by price.

Champions Club ($40,000) — This is a reserved table for 10 on the 16th fairway. The package comes with 10 week-long tickets and access to the hospitality tent.

Gene Sarazen Suites ($115,000) — This gets you a private suite inside a two-story structure on the 16th fairway with seating for 30 people, plus access to a common area with food and drink. (Sarazen was a top pro golfer in the 1920s and 30s and one of the few to earn a career Grand Slam).

Private Chalet ($170,000 to $500,000) — Pricing depends on how big your want your chalet to be, from 50 people to 150 people. These chalets are basically giant tents and very customized. These generally include a bar, food service, dedicated wait staff and plenty of comfy seating.

All options are climate-controlled. The Sarazen Suites are all sold out, but there are some remaining chalets and Champions Club tables.

These are in addition to the new sponsor area that’s planned for the parking lot at the front of Quail Hollow Club. The PGA Championship is re-thinking the entryway to the tournament and looking for more of a dramatic arrival than what you’re used to at the Wells Fargo Championship.

This area will be full of sponsor activation, like Mercedes Benz cars or Omega watches.

There’s also going to be a 40,000-square-foot merchandise tent. That’s like dropping a Belk department store right out front.

This is the base chalet.

You’ll notice a food service area, some mid-size TVs, a coffee area and plenty of seating.

Here is a chalet with upgrades.

Options range from an additional $10,000 to $100,000 depending on what you’re trying to do and what your business incentives are.

“Imagination and your budget are your only limitations,” Mengel said.

A sample chalet is currently set up at Quail Hollow Club, and corporate sponsors will be coming by this week to pick out their themes and upgrades. Designs will be due in the spring, and construction will begin in May. The Agenda got to take a look around.

Take a look at the front porch, too. This will be overlooking a green or fairway, most of the time. And there’s a drink rail on the fence.

Here are some of the food options. You can opt for a crepe bar, a bloody mary bar, or a candy bar. And, of course, coffee.

There’s also a custom merchandise option, where you can get shirts, etc. cobranded with your company’s logo and the PGA Championship logo.
