I’ve been to the Charlotte City Club on several occasions. Most recently for a wedding (very popular venue) and a fundraising breakfast event.
I was struck by the size of the space and I love the large amount of small rooms that make up the space.
Charlotte City Club has about 1,000 members and is located on the 31st floor of the 121 West Trade building in Uptown Charlotte.
Membership Director Julie Horanski told me that “Most people join (and utilize) the Club for business and social networking.”
How do you join the Charlotte City Club?
- Step 1: Inquire. You can be introduced through an existing member of just send an inquiry via email through their website.
- Step 2: Tour. Prospective members are then invited to visit the for a tour where the staff will walk you through the membership process and answer questions.
- Step 3: Sponsorship. You must know a current member for sponsorship. The member list is private, but if you don’t know a member, the club can facilitate an introduction.
- Step 4: Apply. Pretty simple.
