Over twenty-five breweries will be participating in this Saturday’s first-ever “Amazing Canival” in the parking lot between The Unknown Brewery and Craft Growler Shop and Tasting Room.
The event is hosted by the folks at Hopspot, a “social planning app” that recently hit Charlotte, and Elevate Lifestyle, a local marketing and events company. Proceeds will go toward Project HALO, an organization that rescues homeless or unwanted dogs and provides them with love and medical care while finding their forever homes. So yes, the Canival is pet-friendly.
Additionally, the cans emptied on Saturday will support Ronald McDonald House’s aluminum tab donation program.
General admission tickets at $35 each will get you four hours of unlimited sampling of over seventy-five canned beers. Samples will be poured into a 5 oz. sampling glass, sponsored by Canvas Tattoo, that you’ll take from vendor to vendor. VIP tickets for $50 each are also available, and these include biergarten access with catered food and exclusive beers.
And perhaps most importantly, Fresh Med, Papi Queso, and New Wrap Order will be parked and selling their delicious food during the event.
