This Saturday, September 17, Tabor and SOCO Gallery are throwing the first ever Bungalow Social and it’s going to be to be an ultra-cool combo of art, music and fashion. Plus, there’s going to be coffee from Not Just Coffee, beer from Sycamore Brewing, and some heartfelt North Carolina BBQ provided by Noble Smoke.
The day kicks off with a lecture by award-winning NY art advisor Maria Brito, who’s helped clients such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Sean P. Diddy Combs curate art collections for their living spaces.
The social will also include a musical performance by NY-based singer songwriter Doug Keith along with designer appearances and trunk shows by Engineered Garments, Billy Kirk, and Belstaff & Tellason. And make sure you check out the Ken Van Sickle photography exhibition in SOCO Gallery.
In short, this is a national-scale event right here in Charlotte.
“We are thrilled to team up with SOCO Gallery for a day that is all about bringing the best in music, art, and fashion from around the world to Charlotte — and, all under one roof,” says owner Laura Vinroot Poole. “The idea of adding something meaningful to the fabric of Charlotte through our businesses is something that Chandra and I both feel very passionate about and I’m excited to see it come to life this weekend.”
