Because I’m fancy, I try to always have a specialty cocktail anytime I host a party.

I’m no Bob Peters, so when I make a specialty house cocktails they end up taking me wayyyy too much time and taste like a college frat punch. Until Now…

Viva Chicken has the best beverages to create a delicious specialty cocktail. Even your cocktail-snob friends will love it.

When I asked legendary bartender Bob Peters if he’d heard of this phenomenon, he responded, “I haven’t heard of Viva Chicken’s juices being used for cocktails, but my daughter loves their fresh beverages… So does my wife for that matter.”

*Note: I allowed Katie Levans to taste test and rank these beverages because I’m a nice guy and bought 1/2 gallons of juice, but I would always trust my judgement over her judgment because she’s vegan and has two cats.

Herbal Limeade – Lime, Basil, Rosemary, Mint

  • Cost: $9 for a 1/2 gallon.
  • Spirit of choice: Vodka.

  • Tastes like: Lemonade-y mojito.
  • Best for: Engagement party in your backyard with those trendy lanterns.

Maracuya – Passion Fruit Juice

  • Cost: $8 for a 1/2 gallon.
  • Spirit of choice: Champagne.
  • Ranking: #3 from Ted, #3 from Katie
  • Tastes like: Mango pina colada that’s melted.
  • Best for: Baby Shower Brunch when you want to take it up a notch.

Chicha Morada – Peruvian Purple Corn, Cinnamon, Clove, Pineapple, Apple, Limes

  • Cost: $8 for a 1/2 gallon.
  • Spirit of choice: Bourbon (Katie said Goldschlager but that stuff is JV).
