From August 8 through August 28, teams of three — with chefs from Charlotte, Waxhaw, Matthews, Monroe, Hickory, Fort Mill, and Myrtle Beach — will battle in a bracket-style, single-elimination competition for one of six titles. The winning teams will represent Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and Wilmington and will each receive $2,000 in cash and prizes.

Local chefs include Paul Verica of Heritage, David Feimster of Fahrenheit, Clark Barlowe of Heirloom, and John Soilis of Luciano’s.

So how can you get involved? Well, someone’s gotta try all that food. Tickets to each dining event are available for $59 each ($69 for the finale). Guests won’t know which team prepared their six-course meal and will cast a blind vote post-dinner to help determine who moves on to the next round. Reservations for the Charlotte events at Bonterra are available online.
