PNC Music Pavilion was as packed and colorful as I’ve ever seen a big amphitheater Friday for Dead & Company, as were the parking lots, full of tents, flags and RVs. Nice way to kick off a tour.

Happening Saturday: Brew Stash Bash at the USNWC and Unknown’s 2.5ish Anniversary, both featuring a lot of music and a lot of beer. $5 to park at the USNWC and $10 for entry at Unknown.

Times listed are when the show is scheduled to start, not when the doors are opened. Unless otherwise noted, prices are before taxes and fees.

Agenda Picks

  • 6/16: Bassh, Vita and the Woolf; Visulite Theatre, 9 p.m., $12 (tickets). Jimmy Brown and CJ Hardee of Matrimony make up Bassh. The duo come together and the result is unlike Matrimony, and a more contemporary electronic alternative sound.

  • 6/17: Lake Street Dive, The Lone Bellow; Fillmore, 8 p.m., $30-$40 (tickets). Lake Street Dive is coming off the release of their fifth studio album, Side Pony. The group is a jazzy, soulful modern throwback to a time in American music when everyone wanted to sing and swing and dance.
