Here are the events you can’t miss this June – chronologically, so you can hit them all.

They’re fun, classy, sporty and, like everything else in Charlotte, include beer or wine. Enjoy the summer and don’t forget to show us what you’re doing via #cltagenda.

Annual Mega Rosé Tasting

Date/Price/Location/Time: Saturday, June 4 / $25 / Foxcroft Wine Company / 

Why you should go: There will be 8 distributors serving 30+ rosés from around the world on Foxcroft Wine Company’s patio. Light hors d’ oeuvres will also be included. Do you really need any other reason?

National Trails Day

Date/Price/Location/Time: Saturday, June 4 / Free / South Fork Trail / 11-3 p.m.

Why you should go: For those of you that want to head to the great outdoors, this one’s for you. Hang out at the South Fork Trail to enjoy free nature hikes, paddling, lawn games, live art and music. Don’t forget to RSVP for a guided hike, too.

Summer Pops Opening Night

Date/Price/Location/TimeSunday, June 5 / $12 / Symphony Park, SouthPark / 8:15-9:45 p.m.

Why you should go: Don’t miss a chance to be cultured and classy. Go to the opening of the Summer Pops series at Symphony Park. This program will have you dancing in the park to everything from Viennese waltzes to Gloria Estefan’s “Conga” and Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.”

Films on Tap

Date/Price/Location/TimeMonday, June 6 / $10 / NoDa Brewing Company / 6 p.m.

Why you should go: Tickets are only $10 and it gets you a movie and a flight of beer. Alongside the films, there will be a step-and-repeat backdrop for photo ops, and food trucks will be available for when you need to soak up some of that film juice.

Taste of Charlotte

Date/Price/Location/TimeFriday, June 10-12 / Free / Tryon Street (Uptown) / Fri & Sat: 11-11 p.m., Sun: 11-6 p.m.

Why you should go: Taste of Charlotte is a 3-day festival featuring over 100 samples from area restaurants along with live music and entertainment, interactive children’s activities and street performances. Sponsors will also be handing out free stuff and coupons.

OMB: Crown Town Throwdown

Date/Price/Location/TimeSaturday, June 11 / 2-person team: $80 / The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery /11 a.m. (registration), 12-4 p.m. (tournament)

Why you should go: The Crown Town Throwdown is a giant cornhole tournament benefiting InReach. Each player receives two beer tickets, lunch and an event T-shirt with their ticket. They’re trying to set the Guinness World Record for most teams in a cornhole tournament, so don’t miss being part of cornhole history, people! There will also be live music from The Blue Dogs.

Charlotte Knights Game

Date/Price/Location/Time: Wednesday, June 15 / $8-$20 / BB&T Ballpark / 7:05 p.m.

Why you should go: You have to find time to enjoy a baseball game this summer. This will be the Second Annual Caddyshack Night and I think that’s hilarious. This is a great theme that should be celebrated. Go home and re-watch Caddyshack tonight and get excited.

Sycamore Breakfast

Date/Price/Location/TimeSaturday, June 18 / TBD / Sycamore Brewing / 9:30-12 p.m.

Why you should go: There’s nothing better than eggs and bacon… and hopefully people’s dogs. Tin Kitchen and Roots Farm Food have cooked for this awesome event in the past. Look out for updates here.

Brew Stash Bash

Date/Price/Location/TimeSaturday, June 18 / $15 for breakfast and/or $6 per beer sample card / US National Whitewater Center / 9-8 p.m.

Why you should go: The Brew Stash Bash returns to the USNWC for its fifth year, bringing together outdoor adventure and beer. A wide selection of regional and national craft breweries will be featured from 1 to 6 p.m., providing tastes of their signature brews. You can purchase sample cards for $6, which gets you four 4-ounce samples, and check out live music on Belmont Abbey Island throughout the afternoon and into the evening. There will also be a 6K trail race starting at 9 a.m. More details on the the Brew Dash here.

Beer, Bourbon and Bacon

Date/Price/Location/TimeSunday, June 19 / $100 / Bar Cocoa / 8:30-12 p.m.

Why you should go: *Warning: this is for Father’s Day, so it’s a bit more sophisticated. Hang in there with me, fam.* Check out this manly cooking class and treat your dad to the finer things in life. You’ll make bourbon pecan pie, bacon spice popcorn, chocolate stout cake and bacon (duh). You’ll also receive complimentary parking, a recipe collection and a keepsake apron. I know it’s pricey, but it’ll be worth it. Check out how good this food from Bar Cocoa looks.
