Tucked in the corner of the bar, beside the fireplace, two large tables are reserved for attendees of the Community Supper.

The Community Supper is a casual event featuring a four-course meal paired with local beers.

Each event features a different brewery and each meal is customized to highlight the flavors of the beer.

Attendees can expect to taste a variety of foods (some you may have never had before) and enjoy four different beers.

The $50 cost really isn’t a bad deal for the quality of food that’s served and the pours of beer.

A little personal attention by the chef is nice as he comes around to the tables to explain the food and beer choices. I must say, this is where I fell in love with Wooden Robot’s Good Morning Vietnam with Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee.

Reservations are required and recommended to be made sooner rather than later.

The supper I attended was full and now I can see why.

Keep an eye on Dogwood’s Facebook page for upcoming Community Suppers. The next one is scheduled for June 6.
