Drives ticket sales through creation and execution of marketing plans for assigned shows and special promotions. Works primarily under the supervision of the Marketing and Promotions Manager but will be assigned to other marketing teams/projects as required. Create and execute marketing plans for assigned shows, including researching and evaluating advertising options; Ordering and trafficking of advertising; planning and organizing promotional support; and assisting with publicity and other marketing functions including social media and email messaging/coordination as required. Plans and manages all major special events, including the annual Tony Party. Organize Kids Nights, Club Blume and Out on the Town Events under the direction of marketing managers overseeing affinity programs.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, entertainment or arts management, or related field supplemented by at least one year’s experience in advertising/marketing/communications or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. (Marketing internships may be counted toward experience in certain circumstances.) Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, organizational and attention to detail are essential, as well as proficiency in math and budgeting. Social Media experience and video editing capability also are highly desired. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in Microsoft Word applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint and display willingness and aptitude to learn new software. Candidate must be able to work independently with minimum supervision or within a group, depending on the situation. Some evening or weekend duties may be required.
