The Steele Creek event in southwest Charlotte will be the first Saturday of the month (May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1) at the Steele Creek Athletic Association. 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

These are on top of the Food Truck Friday event they’re doing at the Light Factory in Plaza Midwood. First one is April 1.

Truck lineups have yet to be announced. They’re also looking at additional locations.

Food truck rallies are super hot right now. I just wrote about two new ones around Uptown last week. There’s also the one at Sycamore Brewing. Will Charlotte’s food trucks be stretched too thin?
