You may have seen some women around the city looking over-the-top chic with a photographer following closely behind. They usually have a beautiful bag, maybe a prop of some sort (can you say coffee?!), oversized sunglasses and shoes you would only dream of.
These are fashion bloggers. Many of these women have a national following, are paid by brands to wear and post their products, and attend events, conferences and parties around the country. In addition to the blogs they run, most have a full-time job, too.
Here’s a list (and growing every day) of bloggers right here in our community, in no certain order.
Whitley of Queen City Style

I think Whitney’s blog was the first Charlotte fashion blog I ever found. Her website is the epitome of all things fashion because the other half features the editorial and styling work she does in Charlotte and nationally. Her style is truly her own and one-of-a-kind, taking everyday pieces and celebrating the couture in them.

Dress Your Guests is a blog run by two Charlotte ladies, with a lot of color, party tips and general fun. DYG is also a really cool invitation and RSVP system that allows you to share information about your party or event.

I’m ever so obsessed with Bethany’s style. She rarely dresses casually, but when she does, she still looks totally put together.
Mallory of Style Your Senses

Mallory highlights some beautiful spots in Charlotte that you’ll recognize. She’s got a very glam feel even though a lot of her closet are budget finds.
Taylor-Rae Harrold of Style Souffle

Taylor-Rae is the epitome of girly style, but with unexpected twists along the way.
Laura Leigh of Louella Reese

I’ve met Laura and she’s one of those people who is more normal than you could ever imagine and it’s refreshing. Her style reflects her life: fun and bright. She also talks about crafts and baking, two things everyone can appreciate.
Courtney of The Dainty Darling

Courtney’s style has a very feminine feel and includes soft colors, beautiful costume jewelry and a lot of girly skirts. Every other post on her blog highlights something pink. You’ll find some really obtainable ideas on her blog.
Annaliese of Southern Belle In Training

Annaliese is in college in Charlotte and not originally from here. She’s a Maine girl living in a Charlotte world and her style is feminine, but she always throws in a little something unexpected.
Chloe of A Queen City Girl

Chloe highlights popular trends in fashion and has eased into makeup, too. You’ll find pieces here that you’ve been wanting to try, but needing a little inspiration to jump into.
Morgan at How 2 Wear It

Morgan swears her style features affordable clothes, which I appreciate as a young, broke Charlottean. She breaks things up into workwear, seasons, date outfits, etc. which helps the reader navigate her site and learn “how 2 wear it.”
