Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst applies principles of finance and accounting to prepare reporting and analysis within the FP&A function.

• Prepares monthly business and operational reporting on a timely, accurate, and reliable basis
• Analyzes variances and participates in the monthly close process, especially as it relates to preparing and delivering sales-related accruals to the accounting function
• Calculates commission and bonus payouts for the North American sales staff
• Produces ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed by the department
• Coordinates financial questions/answers among departments and FP&A department head
• Assists in the budgeting & forecasting process
• Evaluates profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
• Provides transparency into financial and operating trends to department managers and follows up with insightful recommendations for changes and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
• Advanced knowledge of excel required
• Accounting/GAAP knowledge a plus
• X3 experience a plus
• 3 – 5 years of experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
