I love powder rooms. Because the room isn’t used for long periods of time, homeowners are more willing to take risks — and the reward is high.

I reached out to some of the best designers and builders in Charlotte and asked them to share their favorite powder room projects. They delivered, y’all. Here are 27 gorgeous designs that put the POW in powder room. I’m drooling.

“We wanted to make a huge statement in this tiny powder room. Pulling colors from the house this paper was screaming to be used! Crazy fun as a powder room should be. To add a little weight to it all we changed all the trim to charcoal and finished off with a funky mirror.” — Beth Keim, Lucy and Company

“This delicate wallpaper was perfect for our client because it made a statement without being too overwhelming or risky. While pink, it’s not overly feminine. The majority of their Kiawah home is filled with gorgeous neutral tones, (which was a bit outside of my comfort zone if you’re familiar with my work!) but we found this paper to make a big statement while still remaining neutral enough to fit the client’s needs.” — Charlotte Lucas, Charlotte Lucas Interior Design

“This is the perfect example of a small space making a big impact! The wallpaper is a clear showstopper but we adore the purple trim just as much. We also retrofitted the antique chest to function as a vanity and we just love how it turned out.” — Charlotte Lucas, Charlotte Lucas Interior Design
