The primary purpose of this role is to act as a business consultant and analytics expert by translating business needs into analytic designs, performing relevant statistical analyses from an expansive set of analytic techniques, identifying insights and aligning the insights back to meaningful business intent that drives impactful and measurable recommendations. This includes responsibility for recommending expense targets and operational improvements to senior leadership for measurable savings and efficiencies, as well as working with finance peers to design & execute complex test and control methodologies for functional initiatives to ensure effective post-test decision-making that drives business outcomes. This role is critical to Lowe’s as it consults directly with the business to identify key areas of opportunity for expense optimization within the company’s largest expense lines through strong strategic and thought leadership that fosters an enterprise, omni-functional view of operational optimization.

• Guide them on relevant KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of their online products and features
• Ensure data visibility for website KPIs by setting up and maintaining dashboards and deliver adhoc data pulls as necessary
• Monitor KPIs on a weekly basis and investigate performance variances
• Deliver data-driven deep dives on product usage and online user behavior and provide recommendations on improving user experience and KPIs
• Be a thought-partner and help evolve the product strategy through competitive analysis, benchmarking, market and user research, and digital best practices in ecommerce retail
• Provide revenue valuations for product enhancements to help the product team prioritize their roadmap
• Deliver complex analysis that may involve sourcing and analyzing data from multiple sources such as website metrics, Order management system, inventory data etc.
• Support A/B testing initiatives by guiding the product team on the right metrics to measure for different test scenarios and provide additional guidance as necessary
• Provide general troubleshooting assistance for analytics reporting and bug fixes in partnership with the data capture and engineering teams
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve data capture and reporting capabilities that enables more advanced analysis
• Mentor and guide other analysts in the team
• Train the product team to be self-sufficient in basic data pulls from Adobe
• Besides the product team, the role will also involve active collaboration with A/B testing, Data Engineering and BI, Marketing, and Finance

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, , Operations Research/analytics, Applied Quantitative or related field and 6+ years of experience in applied advanced analytical role; 6 of which are years of experience working with analytic tools (e.g., R, SAS Base, OR, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, Hadoop, Teradata Aster) and performing advanced data modeling, data mining and exploratory data analysis, with a particularly focus on optimization, graph/network analytics, forecasting, simulation)
• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, Operations Research/analytics, Applied Quantitative or related field and 4+ years of experience in an applied advanced analytic role
• 3+ yrs. hands-on experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics (Preferably Adobe)
• SQL experience
• Exposure to Data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau
• Solid understanding of website tagging
• 2+ yrs. experience with A/B testing and a solid understanding of statistical measurements for testing
• A very strong Excel user, with ability to shape, analyze, pivot, and visualize data
• Experience being client-facing, such as presenting in-person or via video conferencing
• Ability to create reports and presentations in applications such as PowerPoint
• Prior experience working with ecommerce websites
