The Financial Specialist will work with the admissions team, client, and payors to facilitate the entire revenue cycle.

• Managing accounts receivable
• Billing and insurance follow up within EPIC
• Communicating costs of services associated with care, as well as payment options to ensure that the clients understand costs associated with services
• Communicating with the financially responsible party throughout treatment
• Performing billing and filing claims within EPIC
• Receiving and processing payments for self-pay/deductibles
• Reconciling information received from payors
• Discussing financial assistance options with clients. Obtaining and evaluating financial information submitted for financial assistance
• Promoting, establishing, and maintaining open and effective communication with clients and staff members
• Monitors/handles all issues involving credit cards
• Preparation of invoices for self-pay and insured clients, properly reflecting terms of each individual insurance carrier contract
• Responsible for entire revenue cycle

• 2 or 4-year degree in business a preference
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Great Plains
• Experience working in a mental/behavioral health field a plus
