Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Catering to oversee all of Reid’s Fine Foods Catering Operations: from sales to event coordination. The primary functions of this role are to promote, coordinate, and execute the different Reid’s catering services. In this position, you are in charge of everything from planning the menu alongside the chefs to supervising all catering staff. Most of our events are banquets, social events, and corporate lunches. You will also book events, requiring strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Our ideal applicant has several years of experience in hospitality or a fine dining restaurant.

Responsibilities:
• Schedule events with clients/ prospect new clients
• Manage Reid’s catering staff
• Develop a budget for each event
• Schedule staff for the event
• Interview and hire new employees
• Oversee the high volume of daily company catering operations

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree
• Hospitality, guest service, and restaurant management experience
• Sales background
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Professional catering experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
