Overview:
The Network Administrator provides entry and advanced levels of network support including, planning, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintenance in all aspects of the infrastructure environment. The Network Administrator will be required to perform moderate to complex technical and administrative tasks. This candidate will be performing duties within the scope of the policy and procedures defined by Charlotte Eye Ear Nose and Throat Associates.

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the security and efficiency of the network routing and switching infrastructure
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues
• Collecting and analyzing data to forecast network infrastructure needs before issues arise
• Identifying issues and implementing plans for remediation before the issues negatively impact the business
• Performing network configuration tasks
• Performing firmware and code updates
• Installing and configuring software and hardware on physical and virtual systems
• The ability to read and write instructions in English, see, hear, operate a computer, comprehend and then carry out directives when instructed
• The ability to work on-site
• Predictable, reliable and prompt attendance

Work environment:
The Network Administrator functions in a busy eye, ear, nose, and throat practice. This role may be exposed to contagious or infectious diseases, and therefore, may be required to wear personal protective equipment at times. This position routinely uses standard medical office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree or higher in Business or IT related field
• Expert knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching Systems
• Expert knowledge of network planning, configuration, and implementation
• Possess an industry-recognized certification – CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
• Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
• Epic Systems Certification or competency
• Other IT Certifications related to essential job functions
