Overview:
The Manager, Brand Advocate works with strategic suppliers and Online Merchants to optimize brand-focused, online customer experiences on Lowes.com. The Manager builds strong business relationships with suppliers to improve online sales, traffic and conversion through analyzing, identifying and improving brand-specific product assortment, online content, promotions, inventory and returns. The Manager ensures that new and promotional items are optimized and offers support when suppliers need help with online/system troubleshooting. This role is also responsible for understanding customer behavior, building strategic plans and leading presentations with supplier and merchandising partners to gain alignment on planned initiatives. The Manager, Supplier Brand Advocate supports Omni-Channel retail strategies and partners with cross-functional leadership to identify process improvement opportunities to optimize effectiveness leading to brand renewal and growth. The Manager leads a team of direct reports and is responsible for inspiring, managing and developing team members.

The Lead Brand Advocate will also be responsible for understanding customer behavior, building strategic plans and leading
presentations with supplier and merchandising partners to gain alignment on planned initiatives. S/he will support Omni-
Channel retail strategies and partner with cross-functional leadership to identify process improvement opportunities that will
optimize effectiveness leading to brand renewal and growth.

Responsibilities:
• Analyzes customer behavior and pain points to identify opportunities to improve the online experience and drive conversion
• Guides Search Engine Optimization (SEO) keyword analysis and the updating of online content to drive incremental traffic
• Completes root cause analysis on key performance indicators
• Develops and maintains relationships with brand leadership teams and cross-functional partners. Aligns on common business goals and executes merchandising strategies
• Builds and leads complex presentations with suppliers and merchants to gain alignment on strategic plans
• Leads creation of project plans and aligns with merchandising and supplier to drive execution
• Builds system knowledge and expertise by participating in training classes and executing project work
• Leads and guides direct reports. Inspires, manages, and develops team members

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, marketing, finance or related field
• 6+ years of experience in Online / Retail Merchandising / Vendor Management / Digital Marketing
• 2+ years of experience in Experience leading a team of direct reports
• Well-developed and professional presentation and communication skills
• Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a dynamic environment
• Ability to approach problems systematically, researching all alternatives and making appropriate recommendations
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results: self-starter and self-directed
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to be deadline-oriented with long and short-term projects Proven ability to build relationships and influence without authority
• Technical aptitude and agility to learn database systems and web-based platforms

Experience:
• Master’s Degree
• Experience in vendor management systems, digital marketing, ecommerce, and merchandising
• Proven experience with major consumer brands and how to support/ differentiate them in the digital space
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Experience with SQL and Adobe products
