Overview:
The VP of Treasury Operations will be responsible for building a world-class treasury operations/payment team, supporting Mastercard’s B2B Hub and AvidXchange’s bank and direct customer base. This person will represent Avid with all bank accounts and money transfer solutions in addition to all reconciliation related to the treasury operations/money transfer systems. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. Responsibilities:
• Lead all aspects of treasury operations, bank transfer, and money movement activity, system building, reconciliation, and analysis, including: short and long-term system building, movement efficiency and effectiveness and customer and bank support
• Lead this area in presentation and work done with MasterCard, Bank partners, and Executive team within AvidXchange.
• Hire, develop and lead a high performing team
• Oversee money flow transactions for all Treasury functions and ensuring an accurate, up-to-date cash position and complete exception management
• Coordinate and manage monthly KPIs and reconciliation to enable the business to business payment network and present results to senior management and other stakeholders
• Continually look for ways to refine and improve money movement and reconciliation processes
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to enable new money movement solutions to enable different partnerships and industry-specific solutions in payments and Fintech space
• Understand trends and regulations that govern money movement and banking that relates to AvidXchange’s business
• Be a leader in AvidXchange to generate ideas and solutions that keeps us best in class combining customer needs and industry trends
• Understand trends and regulations that govern money movement and banking that relates to AvidXchange’s business

Qualifications:
Required
Minimum 15 years of financial services, banking or payment leadership experience. Deep Treasury Management/ Money Movement experience in bank and/or financial services institutions
• Superior analytical skills and insatiable business curiosity. Passionate about turning data into actionable information to drive value
• Significant experience/expertise with NACHA rules and other regulations
• Experience in process and operations management
• Exemplary business partnership and cross-functional and organizational management skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Unquestioned professional integrity
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build and motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Preferred
Deep understanding of licensed Money Transmission processes and regulatory requirements
• Expert mastery of desktop analytical/data tools such as MS Access or Excel.
• Experience with and knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
