eCommerce Marketing Manager

The eCommerce Marketing Manager will lead and support strategic initiatives for the Husqvarna Brand online and eCommerce initiatives through owned, retailer and other third-party websites. The role is responsible for: brand and product content, from concept through execution, for stand-alone projects and integrated campaigns; developing a superior brand presence; online tracking; distributing content across key touch points; the ongoing engagement of Husqvarna Division’s eCommerce activities in alignment with national sales and marketing strategies.

• Partner with leadership to develop a North American division-wide eCommerce marketing strategy, and lead the execution of this strategy
• Identify and prioritize objectives, key initiatives, and allocate budgets to meet marketing targets
• Ensure stellar execution that strengthens the Husqvarna brand and encourages consumers to purchase its products.
• Develop a content strategy and rolling calendar to guide work and achieve the Division’s objectives of building a strong brand, increasing consumer engagement and driving profitable sales growth
• Collaborate with global teams to drive and execute global eCommerce programs and strategies that integrate into the North American market
• Develop, monitor and manage the Husqvarna B2C channel’s commerce activities, including websites, social media, online communities and product reviews, to generate traffic and sales
• Support eCommerce sales, marketing functions and programs, including orders management, account management and inventory management and all related communications
• Collaborate with Marketing to execute content across eCommerce websites, including product specifications, photos, links, videos, emails, and tracking codes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and product managers, to align sales goals and troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and hosting solutions to support eCommerce platforms
• Identify, interpret and execute improved marketing solutions based on analytics and research. Execute promotional ideas based on continued metric analysis through testing
• Recommend insights to maximize sales results and report on the effectiveness of eCommerce and other online strategies
• Drive increased online shopping conversion and eCommerce sales through online channels and successfully influence offline sales
• Work with Sales, Product Management and Marketing teams to develop and implement promotional programs that align with the Division’s objectives
• Analyze initiatives, identify trends and make recommendations for content, campaign, promotional optimization to produce the best return on investment for the organization
• Perform routine competitive analyses to understand how the competition goes to market, generates traffic and strategize how to keep the Husqvarna brand ahead of the competition
• Review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively deliver communications and business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing
• Minimum of four or more years of proven digital marketing experience, including eCommerce planning and management in a leadership role
• Experience with digital content management, marketing automation tools, and campaign management (Google, Adwords, Eloqua, email, etc.)
• Experience with eCommerce management systems, applications and analytics tools, including CMS, IBM Webpshere, Sitecore, CRM, Coremetrics, and Google Analytics
• Experience managing marketing budgets and projects
• Masters and/or technology degree
• Experience with graphic editing tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Media Encoder
• Experience with front end programming languages, including HTML, CSS, Javascript

About you:
• Demonstrated understanding of the digital landscape best practices (including SEO, graphic design/layout, and analytics) and how they can be used to support and develop the Husqvarna Division North America
• Ability to interpret brand parameters and goals and set up a vision for achieving them through communication vehicles, then selling and executing the vision
• Broad digital marketing skills encompassing content development and retailer syndication. Experience with keyword generation, PPC (Paid Search Campaigns), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), affiliate marketing, banner advertising, and search retargeting/remarketing desired
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, including the desire to own the success of projects
• Demonstrated ability to accomplish projects through existing processes, with initiative to establish new and/or improve existing processes in order to improve efficiencies
• Excellent data analysis skills using web analytics, including a demonstrated ability to link and interpret metrics to desired performance, then communicate/present findings and recommendations
• Effective leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills, including the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to maintain strong working relationships with customers, co-workers, and management
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently
• Highly motivated with strong initiative and a hands-on approach to accomplishing goals
• Excellent organization, project management, and oral/written communication skills, including strong copywriting skills. Must be adept at presenting concepts, strategies, and results to groups both large and small
• Ability to travel to domestic (and possibly international) locations as required
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Internet, email marketing, database management, web development including HTML and CSS). Proficient use of tools used for tracking and reporting on response rates, traffic and pick up (e.g.Google Analytics and Coremetrics).
