Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Support Procurement Managers with Analytical Reporting
• Generate spend reports and perform a variety of analysis to assess impact of supplier
agreements
• Conduct market basket analysis to compare pricing between suppliers
• Develop familiarity with product categories, suppliers and contract terms
• Maintain item master data, attributes and category classifications of all catalog items.
• Maintain supplier and customer master data hierarchies for reporting purposes
• Work with category managers to accurately maintain a database of manufacturer and
distributor rebates and pricing
• Administers the release of contract pricing from suppliers to the distribution network
• Periodically run audit queries to verify accuracy of invoice prices, supplier price
submission vs. established contract prices
• Provides excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:
• Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required
• Razor sharp analytical skills, 2+ years of experience analyzing large volumes of data
• Advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, power pivots); intermediate
Power BI, MS Access, Word, Outlook and Power Point Skills required
• Master data experience, developing and maintaining attributes and category hierarchy
structure
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
• Must be able to analysis data, draw factual conclusions and provide recommendations
• High energy individual able to adapt to ever changing environment
• Distribution or food service experience preferred
• Purchasing/procurement experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Customer service focus
