Overview:
Gracie PR & Marketing is a boutique public relations and marketing company that curates campaigns and creates ideas based on a client’s business goals and approaches those campaigns in a way that is unique to that client and their brand. Gracie PR produces results-oriented work that is creative, strategic, personal and authentic. We act as a partner in telling a brand’s story, engaging their audience, connecting their business to the community and boosting their bottom line. With rapid growth and a diverse roster full of awesome clients, this one-woman show is ready for a little bit of assistance— that’s where you come in!

Start date: Immediately, lasting 8-12 weeks dependent upon availability and interest in college credit.

Responsibilities:
• Support marketing and public relations efforts for a variety of clients and Gracie PR
• Assist with client-related online research
• Develop and maintain influencer lists and media contact lists
• Schedule out and engage on client social media accounts
• Generating original content including press releases and other marketing materials
• Identify and pitch media opportunities
• Assist in the creation of graphic design content
• Attend meetings
• Attend client media appearances
• Assist with event planning, as necessary
• General administrative support and project work
• Contribute your ideas. You’re not in it just for the admin tasks, I want to hear your ideas and questions.
• Must project a professional company image both in-person, online and via email
• This is an unpaid internship — college credit is available based on school/requirements

Ideal Candidate:
• Must be a proficient, frequent user of multiple social media outlets including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Available 15-20 hrs/week
• Organized, able to multi-task and complete projects efficiently and in a timely fashion
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google products
• Ability to communicate professionally and write concisely
• Must have access to a computer and a car
• Personable, fun and a positive attitude
• Stellar attention to detail and an appreciation for the art of dotting I’s and crossing T’s
• Must be flexible and adaptive under pressure (with a sense of humor as a plus)
• College student or recent graduate studying Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or any related field
