TJ and Coleen Bridges turned an Italian Piaggio Ape into a full-service bar with seven taps called Bubbles and Brews — and you can rent it for events for around $900-$1,500.

“Our Southern Belle is a vintage Italian Piaggio Ape turned into a full-service bar and loves to party outside or inside,” Coleen said. “We can decorate her with flowers, balloons, custom branding, you name it.”

You can rent the mobile bar on three wheels for any special event, from weddings to bar mitzvahs to showers. And it’ll cost you between $900-$1,500, on average.

The seven taps can be used for craft beer, Prosecco, wine, cocktails, mocktails, Kombucha, etc. You have to purchase the alcohol separately, but the Bubbles and Brews crew sets it up and keeps the drinks flowing.

Bubbles and Brews has mobile bars in 15 other cities, including New York, San Fransisco Nashville, O’Ahu, and Dallas. (The company calls each mobile bar a franchise.)

“We decided to purchase (the Charlotte) franchise to be a small but important and memorable part of people’s happiest moments and celebrations,” Coleen told the Agenda.

So far, they’ve done three events since opening in September, and they have one in November and four more booked in December.

Coleen said they’re “working toward serving parties weekly to expand with the caravan purchase.” The hope is expand the fleet to include a “Cozy Caravan,” a full-service bar that can also serve food.
