The Financial Analyst will be employed by OrthoCarolina, one of the country’s largest, independent orthopedic physician practices, and spend most of his/her time supporting Arrowlytics, an affiliated start-up company. Arrowlytics was formed to provide OrthoCarolina with a cloud-based healthcare analytics dashboard consolidating multiple business-system data-streams. As other physician practices adopted the Arrowlytics analytics platform to manage performance with data, it became apparent that data without understanding is meaningless, so Arrowlytics created a complementary consulting business to assist physician groups with management support, including evaluating governance, operational structure, ancillary services expansion, technology and physical space utilization, branding, and online reputation management.

We are seeking a qualified professional to join us as a Financial Analyst to with our Decision Support team. This position will mainly support Arrowlytics, a healthcare technology and consulting company, as well as OrthoCarolina
The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Decision Support and join a team of analysts. He/she will review target financial data to use as a baseline for pro-forma financial models, leveraging applicable benchmarking data to support pro-forma synergies. The Financial Analyst will ensure financial projections are accurate and prepared for timely review by the Arrowlytics market-lead and external deal-underwriting teams. The Financial Analyst will prepare financial slides for inclusion in physician practice pitch decks and presentations. Transaction support will be provided at all deal phases, including pre-LOI, post-LOI, and at the time of the liquidity-event. The Financial Analyst must also consider the physician practice capital expenditures and staff resources required to support modeled pro-forma synergies. At times, the Financial Analyst may receive direction from the Senior Financial Analyst.
Since Arrowlytics is a healthcare technology company, the candidate will enjoy a relaxed office environment and smart-casual dress code. However, candidates should note than when supporting OrthoCarolina projects and activities, business-casual attire will be more appropriate.
As a consulting firm (Arrowltyics), and as a start-up, the candidate should be prepared to work after-hours or on weekends to meet client expectations, but this is infrequent at present. Required travel will be minimal.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business preferred
• 1-3 years of experience investment banking, accounting, finance, or consulting, preferably with a focus on the healthcare industry
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ensure analyses sufficiently provide insight to the underlying question being asked
• Thrive in a team environment
• Manage simultaneous deal workflows and budget time efficiently to meet critical deadlines
• Demonstrate exceptional skill in financial analysis, and attention to detail
• Offer ideas to improve due-diligence process-flow; continuously improve from one deal to the next
