Village Juice Co., a 500-square-foot organic raw juice and clean food stall, is now open in Optimist Hall next to Undercurrent Coffee.
Village Juice Co. offers convenient local, organic and plant-based foods like smoothies, salads, bowls and more. It’s the third location for this Winston-Salem-based company.
“We are thrilled for Village Juice Co. to officially join the list of open tenants at Optimist Hall. With a menu focused on healthy, organic juices and more, we look forward to providing clean food options for our Optimist Hall patrons,” said Merritt Lancaster of Paces Properties.
Menu: The menu consists of cold-pressed juice, toasts, sandwiches, smoothies, bowls, salads, soups, seasonal specials and build-your-own options. Here’s a peek at some of the menu’s highlights:
- Farmer’s Daughter Grain Bowl (brown rice and kale or spinach, chicken, apple, sweet potato, spiced almonds and either balsamic dijon or roasted carrot vinaigrette dressings)
- Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl
- Basil, bacon and tomato toast
- Mint Chip Smoothie (house-made almond milk or coconut milk, spinach, banana, cacao nibs, date, mint)
Hours: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Location: Next to Undercurrent Coffee in the food hall section of Optimist Hall, 1115 N. Brevard St.
What’s next: Optimist Hall concepts still left to open include Billy Sunday (cocktail bar), Velvet Taco, Aix Charlotte (French rotisserie), Suarez Bakery, Ava (Neapolitan pizza), Fonta Flora Brewing, Felix’s Empanadas and Botiwalla (Indian street food). All should open within the next few months.
