Bradham at New Bern Station — a 432-unit apartment complex in front of Suffolk Punch on the light rail — is now open with around 200 units available.

The aim is for construction to be totally complete by the end of the year, with apartments and a handful of townhouses becoming available in phases from now until then.

Floor plans: They have studios, one-beds, two-beds and a small selection of townhouses. The smallest studio starts at 590 square feet; one-beds are 693-828 square feet; two beds are 1,077-1,432 square feet; and townhouses are 863 and 1,065 square feet.

Rent: Studios start at $1,275 a month; one bedrooms range from $1,390 to $1,925 per month; and two bedrooms are from $2,080 to $2,850 a month. The first batch of townhouses (just six units) are $1,830 per month.

Design: There are two kitchen styles to choose from, either grey shaker cabinets or modern sleek white ones. And each unit has quartz counters, custom tile backsplash, front-loading washers and dryers, spacious walk-ins (some master bedrooms have two closets) and more.

Amenities: This place is packed with the fun modern amenities, including work spaces, a saltwater pool, a dog run/park, a huge gym with Peloton bikes, rowers, TRX system, a barre/yoga studio, etc., a courtyard with yard-sized games, grilling stations, tables, etc., and more. One of the most unique spaces is the Transit Lounge, which will have the light rail schedule and seating so you can wait for your ride in the comfort. The stop is directly in front of the lounge.

Parking: There are four levels of parking, and each unit includes one free space. You can buy a parking spots for $25 a month or $75 a month if you want to reserve a specific spot.

Retail: Restaurant and retail space will occupy the ground floor, including Eight+Sand Kitchen, a concept from Inizio Pizza owner Grant Arons and Not Just Coffee co-owners James and Miracle Yoder, which will be opening below later this month. And Link & Pin, a restaurant and craft cocktail spot by Rob Duckworth (the mind behind Duckworth’s), will be opening this fall. Other confirmed tenants include Great Clips, Five Guys and Frenchies Nails.
