We like people who look at things with fresh perspectives and bring a sense of presence with their work. People who can make things beautiful, but also find the beauty in all things. We’re looking for a strong concepter, who can come with lots of ideas and inspire those around him or her to come up with strong ideas as well. Someone who makes compelling pieces that happen to be advertising. We are light on bullshit and high on actionable insights. Saturday specializes in lifestyle and leisure brands—the kinds of brands people seek out on a Saturday.
It’s a new adventure every day, with assignments that use most if not all media with ads that work. We have a great creative space and culture, high-quality coffee every day and great beer on tap for when the work is done or the hour is late.
There are three very important parts of this job:
• Talent. Having the goods to come up with great ideas and execute with flawless craftsmanship.
• Ownership. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for a job from briefing to execution to fine-tuning and can handle long term projects and quick turn-arounds.
• Mentorship. Being able to mentor, guide and inspire our talented young creatives in a way that benefits them personally and professionally while elevating our agency’s book of work and scope of offerings. And hell, mentoring the mentors, too.
• Have at least 3 years of experience.
