Lemon Love, a new eco-luxury waterless and fume-free nail spa, is opening fall 2019 in Novel Stonewall Station.
“As a female entrepreneur, it is essential for me to drive economic growth in my community and increase the awareness of clean conscious living,” founder Tracy Martin told the Agenda. “How we choose to live and take care of our bodies has a direct effect on our environment. I’m excited to bring change to Charlotte and excellent wellness education!”
I love this concept — why not be nice to our bodies and the earth? Very responsible.
What it is: Tracy explained “waterless beauty treatments are a safer way to allow the nails and skin to keep the nutrients that it needs” aka you won’t be sticking your feet in a tub of water for a pedicure.
Tracy is going waterless because it reduces the risk of water-born bacteria, and she’s bringing in nail polishes and products that are fume-free and free of the top chemicals found in traditional nail wellness.
Socially responsible: “I am originally from the desert where water is a precious resource,” Tracy said. “It is my desire to set a standard of social responsibility in the beauty industry while bringing services that create an environmental change and improve the quality of the customer experience.”
Why Tracy’s excited: She’s a big believer in clean beauty and sustainable wellness treatments. “The No. 1 thing we are thrilled about is bringing a host of new sustainable wellness treatments and a variety of clean beauty products to Charlotte that will be available exclusively at Lemon Love,” she said.
