Tupelo Honey, a popular Southern comfort food spot, plans to open another Charlotte location in Uptown.
Get ready for Tupelo Honey classics like their fried green tomatoes and biscuits in Uptown.
“We are thrilled to share our scratch-made Southern favorites with even more guests in the Queen City,” Tupelo Honey said in a statement to the Agenda. “Design and ideation of the new space are underway and we will be sharing more details on the new location soon.”
Timing: The new Uptown location will open in late summer or early fall.
The biggest question in my mind is will they do weekday breakfast? Their South End location doesn’t open until 11 a.m. on weekdays, but my guess is that the new Uptown location will definitely be open for weekday breakfast. “As for hours we haven’t landed on that 100%,” Tupelo Honey SVP of Marketing Christin Price told me.
Exact location: Tupelo Honey will take the space next to Sukoshi in the Bank of America Plaza Building on Tryon.
What about South End: There will be not changes to the South End location, it’ll remain open. Tupelo Honey South End has a 4 out of 5 rating on Yelp with over 1,700 reviews and hours are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
