The 2nd annual POUR Coffee Festival, a specialty coffee event with unlimited tastings, will be held on Sunday, March 10 at Lenny Boy Brewing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tickets cost $12 to $20 depending on when you want to arrive. Tickets give you unlimited tastings, ability to attend lectures and coffee classes — and you’ll get a souvenir tasting mug.
Last year, the event offered 400 tickets and sold out several weeks in advance.
This year, 800 tickets are available and over half have already been sold as of right now.
The event was founded in 2017 by local coffee pros Diana Mnatsakanyan-Sapp and Matt Dudley, with the goal of celebrating specialty coffee culture in the Southeast.
“I want folks to know that this event is for everyone,” Diana told the Agenda. “Whether you’re a total coffee snob or someone who just enjoys a good latte in the morning and wants to learn more about it, there will be something for everyone at POUR.”
“Being a wholesale roaster, we have very limited interaction with the end customer (and vice versa), so my favorite thing last year was for the people (the end customer) to connect directly with our staff and brand,” said Tony Santoro, owner of Enderly Coffee. “This year we’re releasing a new Natural Processed Guatemalan coffee, a true micro lot where only 50 bags were produced this year. It’s a tasty and bright coffee with notes of tangerine, pineapple, and a bright finish.”
