The house was built in 1995, but architect Ruard Veltman helped the current owners renovate the home in 2015 — and no detail was overlooked.

The house is listed just under $4.5 million, and it’s in gated Morrocroft, sitting on one acre.

The estate oozes luxury with a two-bedroom guest house, new pool and sport courts.

The address is 7517 Morrocroft Farms Lane. At 8,190 square feet, there are seven bedrooms and eight and a half baths.

I spoke with listing agent Matthew Paul Brown, and he said the layout of the house is perfect for a family, especially one that loves to entertain. He imagines an athlete buying this one, or possibly a banking big wig.

The architectural details are stunning — from floor-to-ceiling windows and arched doorways to custom built-ins and coffered ceilings.

The light walls and traditional wood-plank flooring create a blank canvas for potential buyers. I can picture it filled with antiques and Southern flare — think chinoiserie, spindled furniture and layers of color carefully built through coffee table books, textiles and other accessories.

I love a library, and this beauty is no exception. Most of the house is bright white, but this dark retreat transports you to another space.

All this space needs is a pair of over-sized swivel club chairs and maybe some sconces for more reading light. Or you could use it as a home office, with plenty of room for a power desk and shelf space to be filled with things that inspire you.

The bedrooms seem so simple, but the subtle ceiling ornamentation and window frames make them elevated and elegant.

And the master bathroom is beyond swoon-worthy. The mirrored metallic accents make this space feel like a luxurious oasis.

The his and her closets are goals. There’s plenty of storage, and the glass-front cabinets are perfect for displaying all things designer.
