The Lowe’s HQ campus in Mooresville already inspires some serious office envy with a lake and walking trail, comfy living room-style common space, zen garden and plenty of on-site food options. But with the company’s prioritization of community and employee engagement, it was missing one key component… a state-of-the-art wellness center.

“I started here in 2016, and when I got here I immediately asked, where’s the gym?” says Executive Vice President, Human Resources Jennifer Weber. “The heartbeat of our business is people… the dedication and hard work they put into our mission is remarkable. As a company we need to give employees a space to convene as a hub so they can stay healthy, both physically and emotionally.”

“For myself,” she adds, “there are great psychological benefits to working out, conversing with colleagues and friends. We’re excited to see how people use The Workshop to meet their own unique needs.”

Employees have been pumped for the big reveal of the full service wellness center that officially opened last week. Take a look inside:

The center includes a dedicated spin room, multi-purpose room for classes like bootcamp, and a separate room just for yoga, barre and core classes:

Easy-to-use software makes it simple for employees to sign up for classes right from their desks. Class offerings range from quick hit classes up to 45 minutes.

Sometimes wellness just means pure, simple fun.

Not pictured: The Workshop even has a relaxation corner tucked away with two massive massage chairs.

It’s easy to get started with a 1/16-mile walking track and a wide range of free weights.

There’s something for everyone at any stage of their fitness journeys with this range of equipment.

It’s hard to work out consistently if getting back to “work mode” is inconvenient, so they’ve got employees covered.

The Workshop offers 20 showers, 200 lockers and towel service.

In a hurry? Hit up the juice bar for smoothies and wraps on the go.

And if you need help getting started, lean on the dedicated staff.

The team offers up consultations, equipment assistance and even personal training.
