The job:
Wildlands Engineering, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing North Carolina Team in our Charlotte and Raleigh offices. We are looking for environmental scientists with 1-5 years of experience and with a background in the following.
• Habitat restoration.
• Wetland delineation.
• Field assessment and monitoring protocols.
• Invasive species management.
• GIS.
• Surveying.
• Environmental permitting.
• Report writing.

What you will do:
The preferred candidate should understand the ecologic and hydrologic processes important to ecosystem restoration in the Southeastern United States.
Duties will include
• Performing stream assessments.
• Geomorphic monitoring surveys.
• Wetland delineations.
• Vegetation surveys.
• Invasive species management.

Other:
• Ability to deal with long field days is necessary, along with some overnight travel.
