This Myers Park home hadn’t been touched since the previous owners moved in in the 1970s. Time for a major facelift.

As interior designer Ashley Shaw describes: “After walking through the home with my clients, I could see it had great bones, and I knew we would be able to create what they were looking for – a kitchen that was light and airy and would serve as the main gathering point of the home.”

BEFORE…

AFTER…

“My client loves to bake,” says Ashley. “So double ovens were a must. She loves that she can be making her baked goods in one oven while also roasting vegetables for dinner at the same time. He loves the beverage center and its flexibility to store wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks together and at varying temps.”

The oven: The Monogram 48″ Dual-Fuel Professional Range with 6 Burners and Griddle offers professional appearance and heavy-duty, full-extension racks. The homeowners also opted for the Monogram Custom Hood Insert for premium ventilation.

The U-Line 1000 Series Beverage Center features a temperature range from 34°F – 45°F, convenient Digital Touch Pad Control and wine racks to accommodate a variety of shapes and sizes.

The KitchenAid French Door Refrigerator features an interior water dispenser, a manual temperature setting that lets you maintain the freshness of specific ingredients, slide-out baskets with mats to help keep the freezer clean and organized, and space-efficient, under-mounted pans with rollers and glides for satisfyingly smooth operation.

With a new, gorgeous kitchen, who wants unsightly appliances on the counter? Instead opt for a Microwave Drawer Oven.

And as for the laundry room?

“In the laundry room we wanted to add some style to an often overlooked space,” says Ashley. “We had dark navy cabinets installed with a rustic wooden countertop to make the space feel warm and inviting, instead of being a drab chore destination.”

Time for an update – shop all washer/dryers.
