The definitions

BBL: Stands for “BroadBand Light” and is a laser treatment used to treat age & sun spots, acne, rosacea, and can reduce the appearance of small blood vessels. Can also be used to tighten skin and for laser hair removal.

Pro tip: Combining the Halo and BBL lasers can maximize your results with the BBL hitting the surface level of the skin and the Halo penetrating deeper imperfections. The Halo can wipe out pigment by itself, but depending on the patient, it can be beneficial to do one or the other. But in most cases, both lasers together is the gold standard.

Botox: An injectable used to reduce lines & wrinkles in the face. Can also be used to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating in armpits).

Contour TRL Laser: A laser peel that safely removes layers of the skin to reduce imperfections such as age spots, lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin tone or rough texture. This laser allows custom-control of the depth of the peel.

Dermaplaning: A non-invasive procedure that uses a precise blade to remove a thin layer of skin and peach fuzz. It exfoliates and brightens the skin as well as encourages the body’s natural regenerative process to create new skin cells.

Pro tip: You might see store-bought dermaplaning tools out there but it’s not a great idea to do this at home. When it comes to blades/needles on your skin, it’s best left to the professionals.

Dermaplaning

diVa: Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation that treats urinary leakage with or without activity, vaginal laxity, dryness, discomfort during intercourse, difficulty with orgasm, and many other symptoms women experience after menopause or after chemotherapy.

Facial Fillers: Injectable used to decrease deeper lines by adding volume to lines, creases, and areas that have lost volume in the face (often in the cheeks or lips). Multiple types of fillers are available and are selected based on the area of treatment and patient’s goals.

Halo: A hybrid fractional laser that inspires growth of new collagen and elastin. Used to treat sun spots, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, smoothes texture & tone. Leaves skin bright and fresh. Safe for all skin types.

“I’ll be the first to acknowledge that this procedure is expensive and relatively painful. However, I did see results. If you have similar insecurities to what I was feeling (aka a huge discomfort with leaving the house bare-faced), I’d highly suggest this treatment. You’ll see results and a pretty immediate improvement in the appearance of your skin.”

Kybella: An injectable used to target and kill fat cells, specifically under the chin. This treatment is used to reduce the appearance of a “double chin.”

Micro Peels: These are the lightest form of chemical peels. They help smooth and soften your skin, brighten your complexion, minimize pore size, and reduce discoloration. You can get these done with minimal flaking or downtime.

Pro tip: Try the Obagi Blue Radiance Peel. It’s known as a “lunch-time peel” and won’t leave you looking like a lobster for the rest of the day.

Microdermabrasion: A chemical-free, non-invasive procedure that physically exfoliates your dead surface cells using a diamond tipped wand with applied vacuum suction. Unclogs pores and gives skin a softer more radiant appearance.

Microneedling: A minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to improve skin’s tone, texture and tightness. It can also help with acne scarring. Safe for all skin types. Leaves skin firmer, more even and rejuvenated.

Obagi Blue Peel: A medium depth chemical peel. It can be applied in 1-4 layers, depending on your needs. It can remove pigmentation problems, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, and help reduce the signs of aging.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Hair Restoration: A revolutionary, non-surgical technique for natural hair restoration during the beginning stages of male and female pattern baldness. PRP is produced through an extraction process, from your own blood cells, that’s meticulously injected into your scalp at various intervals to stimulate the hair follicles.

PRP Injectable: PRP can be used as an injectable in the tear throughs and other areas of the face to improve the “tired look” under the eye and improve skins tone, texture and volume.

PRP Topical: PRP can be added to Halo, Microneedling (we recommend always pairing), and diVa treatments to speed healing time and amplify results.

SculpSure: An FDA-cleared non-invasive laser treatment that eliminates stubborn fat on the abdomen, flanks, back, inner thighs, outer thighs and submental (under the chin) area. Leaves the treated area firmer, flatter and tighter.
