Pins Mechanical Company and 16-Bit Bar+Arcade are set to open their first North Carolina locations in South End.
My fellow Ohioans, if you have been to (or are from) Columbus there’s no doubt you’ve heard of Pins Mechanical Company and 16-Bit. While seemingly just bars on the surface, they’re so much more.
Pins Mechanical Company, a popular social house, has games like foosball, pinball, duckpin bowling, ping pong and bocce.
16-Bit Bar+Arcade has pretty much every classic arcade game from the 80s & 90s.
Rise Brands, the parent company, will develop both concepts next to each other. Both have quality cocktails on top of an extensive beer list (custom curated, no “paid for” stuff here). And it’s all housed in a massive and beautiful facility with modern rustic decor.
Expect a 2019 grand opening.
Taking up 20,000 square feet at 307 W. Tremont — near Zeppelin, Bang Bang Burgers and Common Market South End. Pins and 16-bit will no doubt be a staple of the South End nightlife scene.
It’s a unique and exciting addition to the area that will be housed in a gorgeous old building courtesy of Asana Partners. Expect a rooftop patio and bar.
This adds something unique and beyond exciting to the area, not to mention being housed in a gorgeous old building courtesy of Asana Partners.
I can’t stress enough how much this is going to enhance the nightlife scene in South End. The place is super approachable with tons of things to do, plenty of space to handle crowds, incredible decor and an “it” factor that everyone will enjoy.
