Overview:
Our insurance agency is hiring a part-time telemarketing representative to join our outside sales team. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking on the phone with several people each day to discuss our products. We’re looking for an upbeat, motivated professional for up to 20 hours a week.

Duties:
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Place phone calls to potential clients from our computerized directory.
• Perform script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of sales program.
• Answer potential clients’ questions about product needs.
• Set appointments with prospective customers based on our associates’ schedules.
• Maintain computer, telephone and other equipment.
• Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisory staff.
• Refer customer complaints to supervisor for quality control.
• Communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers at all times.

Skills and qualifications:
• Excellent phone manner and articulation.
• Results-driven and willing to work on an hourly basis.
• Ability to cope with rejection on a daily basis.
• Exhibit time management and customer service skills.
