The World Cup starts today in Russia — with the first match, against Saudi Arabia, kicking off at 11 a.m. on FOX. Here’s the lineup and where to watch.
The tournament will continue through mid-July, but if you’re looking to watch a game over a few beers this weekend, we’ve got you covered.
Here’s the weekend’s lineup of World Cup matches.

Here’s where you’ll be watching the 2018 World Cup in Charlotte.
Uptown, 140 Brevard Court
Charlotte’s OG futbol bar — expect diehard fans and an unrivaled atmosphere in this cozy Uptown pub. It’ll be packed.
Elizabeth, 1523 Elizabeth Avenue
This new soccer bar in the heart of Elizabeth will be serving a specialty beer, the 1775 pale ale, which is made in collaboration with NoDa Brewing Company.
Uptown, 208 North Tryon Street
Rí Rá will be showing every single game (even early morning games) during the World Cup and they will be serving international foods and drinks that correlate with the countries playing.
Uptown, 144 Brevard Court
Belfast will be open at 11 a.m. Thursday morning and 1 p.m. Friday afternoon to show earlier games. They’ll be serving up $3 Heineken and $5 Jägermeister special during the games.
There will be several different prizes including tickets to the International Champions Cup.
South End, 2000 South Boulevard
This British pub will be serving Heineken 20-ounce drafts for $3.50 and Strongbow Ciders for $4.50 during the games.
South End, 1933 South Boulevard
On days they’re showing the matches, there will be $4 draft beer features and $5 liquor features.

Lower South End, 4150 Yancey Road
Olde Mecklenburg Brewery will be hosting viewing parties for the scheduled Germany games on June 17, 23 and 27. During these viewing parties, food and drinks will be self-service.
Dilworth, 1315 East Boulevard
The Rogue will be serving $5 Carlsbergers and $3 Budweisers, along with hosting giveaways such as a $50 gift certificate to The Rogue, two tickets to the Dortmund/Liverpool match on July 22, a Carlsberg foosball table and a framed USA soccer jersey.
Plaza Midwood, 1801 Commonwealth Avenue
They’ll be open at 10 a.m. every day to show games on 22 TVs and 4 projectors.
Specials include $3.50 Tecate, $4 Heineken and $4 Strongbow drafts on game days.
