A small building by the Camden Gallery apartments in South End will soon become a coworking space.

1710 Camden Road was formerly the home of Club Fetch and now sits empty.

Camden, the real estate company that owns the property, had originally flirted with the idea of putting townhomes there.

Now they’re moving toward turning it into a coworking space, Camden executive Will Smith said.

But when complete, the project will put more office space in a booming area. This building is already home to Blaze Pizza, Blue Hem, Bulgogi Box, Charlotte Running Co. and Pop The Top Craft Beer Shop.

Camden looked at putting another restaurant in this building, but there wasn’t enough parking, Smith said.
