The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice

February 1-4 | Bojangles’ Coliseum | $20-65 | Tickets

Why you should go: Watch classic characters like Minnie, Mickey, Dory, Nemo, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, plus newer characters like Anna, Elsa and Olaf, bring their stories to life. Perfect for Disney-obsessed kids in your life.

Queen City Brewers Festival

February 3 | The Fillmore | 1-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. | $45 | Details

Why you should go: 30+ area breweries, including Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Sugar Creek Brewing Company and Sycamore Brewing, will all be on-site with a variety of beer and food pairings to for attendees to try. Proceeds benefit ACEing Autism-Charlotte.

Winey Grapes

February 3 | Slate | 2-5 p.m. | $40-55 | Tickets

Why you should go: This indoor wine festival will have over 100 wines to sample, plus a variety of artisans to shop and live music.

The Oyster Roast

February 3 | Sugar Creek Brewing | 4-8 p.m. | $65+ | Tickets

Why you should go: Enjoy all-you-can eat oysters and all-you-can-drink beer at this roast, which raised $15,000 for charity last year. Proceeds benefit Carolina Family Connections, CART 19 Study at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.

2nd Annual Puppy Bowl

February 4 | Lucky Dog Bark & Brew Charlotte | 1-4 p.m. | Free

Why you should go: Puppies, costume contests, drink specials and a photo booth. No further explanation necessary.

Mardi Crawl

February 10 | Flight | 6:30 p.m.-12 a.m. | $5-15 | Tickets

Why you should go: Hang out at 6 Uptown bars and take advantage of drink specials and free covers while you celebrate the holiday. Don’t worry, they’ve got the beads and masks covered.

Ride at the Hive

February 24 | Spectrum Center | 8 a.m.-1 p.m. | $100 donation 

Why you should go: Hang out with CycleBar for brunch, mimosas, shopping and a cycle session, plus prizes like a Hornets suite night, meet-and-greet, signed jersey and more up for grabs.

Cornhole for Camp

February 24 | Triple C Brewing Co. | 1-4 p.m. | $100 per team | Register

Why you should go: Each team receives 2 drink tickets, 2 souvenirs and will play a minimum of 2 games to compete for a $500 prize. Proceeds benefit Camp Blue Skies Foundation’s “Send a Camper to Camp” campaign.

Banana Bar Crawl

February 24 | Whisky River |4 p.m.-2 a.m. | $20-35 | Tickets

Why you should go: Your ticket includes a complimentary banana suit, admission to 9 bars, drink specials and more, but focus just on the fact that you and your friends will be walking around in banana suits.

Feed the Children Benefit Dinner 2018

February 27 | Fahrenheit | 6 p.m. | $150+ | Tickets

Why you should go: Enjoy a multi-course dinner, complete with drinks, curated by chefs Rocco Whalen (Fahrenheit), Joe Kindred (Kindred Restaurant, Hello, Sailor), Blake Hartwick (Bonterra), Paul Verica (Heritage) and David Feimster (Fahrenheit) and famed mixologist Bob Peters of The Punch Room. Proceeds benefit the effort to end local childhood hunger.
