Parliament Espresso & Coffee is now open for business in the brand new 300 South Tryon building.

Combining elegance with rustic, the decor feels like a true, blue east coast coffee shop. Parliament was created by STARR Catering Group (an Elior North America Company, who has offices in 300 S Tryon).

Besides coffee, Parliament offers delicious pastries and sandwiches/wraps. This is their third store, with the others in NYC and Philly.

Current hours are 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. While they’re currently closed on Sunday, I am hopeful that once they get going they will be open on Sundays as well.

For those in a rush, Parliament has an app and a walk-up window right on 3rd Street. You can place your order on the app and when it’s ready, come right to the window to pick it up.

Parliament has a top of the line La Marzocco coffee machine that steams milk, fast.

If you’re looking for a coffee shop vibe similar to Coco and the Director, Parliament’s got that as well — including free WiFi.
