Eddie’s Place, a diner-style restaurant and bar in Cotswold, is well known for their all-day breakfast offering and neighborhood vibe.
But did you know about their she-crab soup? I didn’t until the Agenda sent a recent soup survey and got slammed with “You gotta try Eddie’s she-crab” responses.
So, I went to Eddie’s, sat down at the bar and ordered a bowl of the she-crab. It’s $5.25 for a cup or $6.95 for a bowl. It came out with two thick pieces of salted bread, perfect for dipping.
Now I know why Eddie’s does about 150 to 200 she-crab soups each day. It’s delicious — creamy, rich and has nice chunks of crab inside.
Shout out to Eddie’s hearty chicken and sausage gumbo soup, another excellent soup, but not as well known as the she-crab.
The she-crab soup made me for so joyous inside that I almost ordered a drink special…
