Burned out on $14 cocktails? Me too, so I set out to find us some interesting budget-friendlier adult beverages that won’t break the bank.

Sure, you can find cheap well drinks, happy hour specials and daily drink deals at most bars, but I wanted to find true mixed cocktails (not just a shot or a cheap well + Coke) with an everyday, non-discounted price below $7.

Turns out it’s easier said than done in a town where fancy artisan craft cocktails are having a moment. In fact, I started this story at a $6 cap and ended up rolling it up a dollar because pickings were so slim.

But all hope is not lost. Here are my top picks for Charlotte cocktails priced $7 or less every day of the week. When all else fails, it’s vodka soda with a splash of pineapple for me. #basic
